Throughout the winter season, Old Town Trolley is delighted to offer our guests a 90-minute panoramic trolley tour of Boston.

It’s the perfect way to explore the city! We’ve carefully crafted our tour, selecting the best route that takes in all the right places to maximize your time and give you a great introduction to historic Boston.

Experience the birthplace of American Independence as your expert tour conductor showcases the City with stories featuring tales of adventurers arriving in the New World and their rebellion against the British Crown. Boston has become an iconic ‘must do’ City which truly has something for everyone. Visit the ‘Cheers!’ bar and historic Faneuil Hall, explore the famous Boston Common and be a part of the revolution by throwing the tea into the harbor at the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum.

The Trolley will make one stop along the route outside the iconic ‘Cheers!’ bar on Beacon St where you can take that sought after ‘selfie’, visit Boston Common and the Public Garden, or have a brief stroll along historic and picturesque Charles St.
While you enjoy your off-trolley experiences, your guide and the trolley will wait for you to continue with their narration upon your return.

Then enjoy the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum.
Sense the emotion and determination of our forefathers who fought for our freedom and independence. Come enjoy our new modified, safely self-guided experience, Huzzah for Griffin’s Wharf”!

Explore Griffin’s Wharf and board BOTH of our ships, the Eleanor and the Beaver. Throw the fated tea into Boston Harbor alongside our costumed historical interpreters and hear the dramatic events surrounding the “single most important event leading up to the American Revolution”. View the Robinson Tea Chest, the only known surviving tea chest from the Boston Tea Party and experience it’s amazing story. Huzzah for Griffin’s Wharf has been designed with social distancing in mind, and the majority of your visit will be spent outdoors.

Please note that due to safety guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum will be operating at a significantly reduced capacity to allow for safe distancing, and some museum exhibits are currently not available for viewing.
