Here's your opportunity to experience a whole new side of the Academy at NightLife, every Thursday night. See it transform into a lively venue filled with music & mingling, provocative science, special activities and cocktails to create a uniquely sophisticated evening for visitors aged 21 and over. Valid ID required.

Groove to San Francisco's hippest DJ's and performers, explore all of the Academy's exhibits and shows, meet locals and visitors from around the world all while sipping your favorite cocktail.

Food and cocktails are available for purchase throughout NightLife cash only.

Reservations are NOT needed or accepted. Tickets can be used on any operating day within 6 months of the purchase date.

You can exchange your voucher for your entrance ticket at the 'Service Desk' located at the right side of the main entrance.

Music Concourse intersects between John F. Kennedy Drive and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Golden Gate Park

Parking

Street parking is located throughout Golden Gate Park and the neighboring areas. Parking Garages are also available.

Must be 21 years and older. Valid Photo ID required.

Reservations are not required - Food and cocktails are available for purchase throughout NightLife- cash only ~ Each week features a live band or DJ, and a unique theme from salsa dancing to sustainable seafood and beyond ~ Enjoy planetarium shows each week at NightLife. Passes to planetarium shows are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Pick up your pass at the Planetarium Kiosk.
