SAFETY IS OUR #1 PRIORITY: In order to assure you, our valued guests, have the safest and most comfortable sightseeing experience, Old Town Trolley Tours has implemented a number of new disinfecting and safety measures including: Daily deep disinfecting procedures for our vehicles and facilities; Additional throughout the day disinfecting on high volume touch points; Facial coverings are mandatory. Sanitizing solution dispensers on every vehicle and at our sales locations. While all guests must wear a mask, as the current Georgia order expanded the prohibited “gathering” size to 50 or more, and our vehicle capacity is 36, guests no longer have to be spaced 6’ apart while riding the tour. Guests are encouraged to maintain enhanced distancing whenever possible and all of our other disinfecting and preventative protocols remain in place.

Tour at your own pace! Old Town Trolley Tour allows you to get off at any of the 15 convenient stops situated close to all popular attractions, shops and restaurants. When you're ready, just re-board and it's on with the tour. Trolleys depart from all stops at least every 20-minutes.

The American Prohibition Museum located in Savannah's City Market, is the first and only one of it's kind in the United States.

The Museum offers state-of-the-art exhibits, immersive dioramas, rare historic memorabilia and artifacts, and even a 'Speakeasy'. It will cover the time period from when Georgia went dry in 1907 until Prohibition's national repeal in 1933. While here, guests will have the opportunity to experience life in America through the earliest rumblings of Temperance through the unintended consequences that the 13 years of Prohibition caused.

Through immersive displays and state-of-the-art dioramas, Museum goers will learn how Prohibition and Temperance shaped thinking and culture for more than two hundred years of American history.

Operating Times

Old Town Trolley:
Daily: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Final boarding at 5:00pm. Tours depart from boarding locations approx. every 20 minutes.
The American Prohibition Museum:
Operates Daily: 10:00am to 5:00pm with last admittance at 4:15pm. Guests of all ages are allowed in the museum during all operating hours, but photo ID is required at the door to receive a wristband for admittance to the Speakeasy. Guests under the age of 21 are not permitted in the Speakeasy. (Closed on St Patrick's Day).

Reservation Notes

Reservations are NOT needed or accepted. Tickets can be used on any operating day within 12 months of the purchase date.

Child Ticket: 4-12 yrs of age. Children 3 yrs of age and younger are free.

Tours depart from boarding locations approx. every 20 minutes. Patrons with Tickets can board at any Old Town Trolley boarding location. Without an e-Ticket voucher or mobile ticket, you must go to the ticket booth location with invoice order number. Several trolley companies operate in Savannah. Make sure you board the ORANGE and GREEN trolley of Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah. When purchasing eTickets for groups of 15 or more, please call Customer Service so that we may most effectively serve your needs. Documented assistance animals, such as seeing-eye dogs will be the only animals permitted onboard our vehicles and in our facilities.
